Sana Makbul reveals suffering from THIS liver disease similar to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s condition

Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner, Sana Makbul recently shared details about her ongoing health challenges. She disclosed that she has been dealing with an autoimmune liver disease since 2020, a condition comparable to myositis, which actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu also experiences.

I have turned vegan recently due to health reasons. A lot of people don’t know that I am an autoimmune hepatitis patient. I have a liver disease, it was diagnosed in 2020. It has no specific symptoms. In this, my body cells are attacking the organ. So in my case, it’s sometimes lupus; it hits your kidneys or causes arthritis. Despite her confident persona on Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana opened up about the challenges she faces in managing her health condition.

She explained, “I take steroids, suppressants, or some medicines. It’s a lifestyle disorder, but with the autoimmune condition, the liver condition is a tricky thing. My health keeps fluctuating, I don’t know if this can be cured completely."

During their conversation, Bharti Singh and her husband, Harsh, also addressed the issue of misinformation about medical treatments often circulating on social media. Bharti pointed out the confusion arising from conflicting advice online, to which Sana readily agreed, stating, "Social media plays with your mind. I keep having my bad days."

Since winning Bigg Boss, Sana has been actively pursuing a career in entertainment. She has appeared in several music videos, including one alongside Bigg Boss 18 winner Karanveer Mehra.
