Samridhii Shukla responds to the news of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai receiving an off air notice

Samridhii Shukla, currently captivating audiences with her role as Abhira in Star Plus' "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," engaged in an exclusive conversation with India Forums, addressing the circulating rumors about the show's termination.

In the interview, Samridhii, portraying the character of Abhira, responded to the news, saying, "Honestly, I have been tagged on a few such things on social media, but I do not know. I mean, officially, we have not been told anything. Until you do not receive an official notice, I think I will call it a rumor. No, I do not think it is happening. A lot of times, social media is very misguided, so I think it is one of those things. Officially, we have not been informed about anything as of now, and this is my statement."

She also addressed the negativity directed towards the current cast of the show and shared her perspective on dealing with it. Samridhii expressed, "I think the moment we decide to be a public figure, you have to accept the fact that you can be bullied and appreciated too. And you have to accept both because you signed up for this. You cannot be a cry baby and say that people are speaking about me. No! You are a public figure. It does not change the fact that we do feel bad. There are days when we are pulled down, and there are also days when we are appreciated. The audience is emotional, innocent, and naive. We have to understand the fact that the audience was invested in different people earlier, and if overnight someone goes through even a minor change, they feel bad. So, of course, they will take time to get used to the new cast and new people. But I am very confident that they will accept us."
