In a cinematic triumph, Tiger 3, helmed by director Maneesh Sharma and featuring the dynamic trio of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi, showcased its resilience on its second Friday, amassing approximately Rs 3.75 crores. The film's Hindi nett collection now stands at a formidable Rs 245.50 crores, with expectations to cross the Rs 250 crore nett Hindi threshold on its 13th day.
Despite a decent performance, Tiger 3, being the third installment of the beloved Tiger franchise and a crucial component of the acclaimed YRF Spy Universe, has garnered mixed reactions. With just six days remaining before Animal and Sam Bahadur seize the majority of screens, the film is anticipated to conclude its Hindi theatrical run with an estimated collection ranging from Rs 265 - 270 crores nett.
While the movie strives for success in the domestic market, its global aspirations set a lofty target of Rs 450 crores worldwide. The global theatrical share is anticipated to reach around Rs 185 crores, while non-theatrical revenues are expected to propel total recoveries close to Rs 400 crores.
Salman Khan, a central figure in the film, and Yash Raj Films are poised to reap financial benefits from Tiger 3, even though the returns may not match the initial expectations set before the film's release. Notably, Tiger 3 ranks among the most expensive Indian films ever created.
Looking ahead, Salman Khan enthusiasts have exciting projects to anticipate. Confirming his next venture, The Bull, directed by Vishnuvardhan of Shershaah fame under the Dharma Productions banner, Salman Khan has also given the nod for Dabangg 4, Kick 2, and an upcoming family drama by Sooraj Barjatya, post The Bull.
