Salman Khan gives Jugpreet a surprise visit

Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been lauded for its rich pool of superlative singing talent. 

The current season has clearly unearthed a diamond in Jugpreet Bajwa, a phenomenally gifted, visually impaired singer from Canada. His journey of battling cancer at a tender age, tiding over visual impairment, training rigorously in music and travelling across continents to emerge as the hottest contender on the show; has already begun to inspire legions of fans on television. 

Having had Shah Rukh Khan dance to his rendition of Kal Ho Na Ho and waltzing with the most beautiful woman in the world - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the course of his stint on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Jugpreet has had the Canadian MP and Minister for Sport and Persons with Disabilities Carla Qualtrough send him a congratulatory video message for having made Canada proud.  The latest thrill for Jugpreet on the rollercoaster ride called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa was his tryst with none other than the Dabangg superstar Salman Khan. The superstar is, apparently, a huge fan of the singer and went out of his way to meet Jugpreet when he realised that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is being shot next door to his film shoot and even expressed the desire to work together in the future with Jugpreet.

Jugpreet says, "It was a complete surprise...I was practising for this week's shoot and it seems, Salman Sir wrapped up his work at a set close by and was heading to his vanity van when he heard that the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa rehearsals on the set are right next door. He just walked in and whispered in my ear and hugged me tightly, and I was so shocked and happy that I just took his blessings. I am on-top-of-the-world having met Salman Khan. I felt special, that amongst everyone else, he chose to meet me. I'm truly blessed that he likes my singing. He said he watches Sa Re Ga Ma Pa with his mother and looks forward to my performances. 

Additionally, what was especially memorable was, when he said "Inshahlaah, hum kabhi saath mein kaam karenge. It just made my day!"

Well, Salman Bhai indeed made Jugpreet's day with this surprise visit!
