Superstar Salman Khan starrer Dabangg series have proven to be a hit franchise in Bollywood. After the two instalments, Salman has begun the filming for its third instalment titled 'Dabangg 3' in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Khan also took to Twitter to announce the same.

Speaking of the Dabangg series, intense action sequences and item numbers have been iconic in the first two instalments. Malaika Arora danced on 'Munni Badnaam' and Kareena Kapoor danced on 'Fevicol Se' in the first and second instalment respectively. Both the special numbers were a hit among the audience and topped the charts.

Now, rumour mill has it that actresses Sunny Leone and Mouni Roy are being considered to star in Dabangg 3's special song. While the makers are in a dilemma about who will finally star in the special number, a source informed that Bhai (Salman Khan) has revealed his choice.

A source close to the film revealed to DNA, "Initially, Arbaaz and director Prabhu Deva felt Sunny Leone would be an apt choice for the pulsating number in Dabangg 3. However, Salman wasn't too keen on the idea. He feels Mouni would be a better candidate for this racy track. She's gorgeous and has nimble feet to pull off this special song in which Bhai himself will also feature".

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has been quite active on social media about sharing his Dabangg 3 journey so far. Recently, he shot the title track of the film 'Hud Dabangg' as Chulbul Pandey on the ghats of the river Narmada. He also shared a still of the same:

Dabangg 3 marks Prabhu Deva and Salman Khan's second outing together as a director - actor Jodi. Prabhu Deva had earlier directed Salman back in 2009 in the film 'Wanted'.
