Salim Sulaiman’s music video trilogy stars actress Onima Kashyap

Onima Kashyap needs no introduction when it comes to TVC. The young vibrant girl has worked with almost all the top notch bollywood names in the Industry like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Rajkumar Rao, Vivek Oberoi and more. Best known to be the face of Coca Cola hoardings, Onima has also been featured with reputed brands like Nivea, Limca, Lux, Kalyan jewelers, Parachute and many more. Apart from acting she is a professional painter as well and sells her artwork under the name of ‘ONIMA CREATIONS’.” I m a creative soul who thrives to wandere” She says.

Graduated from Delhi University, Onima has also performed in theatre plays in mandi house with asmita theatre group. Apart from Bollywood she is a popular actor in south too. She has recently done a song in upcoming malayalam movie produced by dulquer salman  with gregory Jacob.She did a short film titled ‘Taxi Driver’ in 2017. Onima’s claim to fame was a music video with the famous youtuber Bhuvan Bam. The actress is all happy and content as she became the face of Salim – Sulaiman’s latest music video which has the duo singer-composer act alongside her in the video.

“Lost in Love is a musical trilogy by Salim Sulaiman which has 3 parts to it. Apart from composing the singing the song, the duo have also acted in the music video. The first one is titled ‘follow me’ while the second video is called ‘ Samajh Na Paaye’ which is a heartfelt number. The latest to release is titled Hareeya, which is a heartbreaking soulful number. “It has been a great association working with the duo as they are a whirlpool of talent .They made me so comfortable on set and it helped me lose myself in the scenes to an extent where I could easily portray my character’s feeling. They literally brought best in my performance”, says Onima.

“This video trilogy is being liked and appreciated especially by the youths as they can totally connect to it. There are people who make their career just with music videos and with current state of era, it is a privilege to be in this space. I hope of continuing and getting to do more such videos”.

When asked if given a chance would she like to try her hands in acting, the young girl says, “I am happy and content with the TVCs that I do. I am a popular name in that sector. However I have also done theatre acting and fashion designing when I was in Delhi. I think any work is good work and there is no harm in multi tasking. The fame and popularity that a successful actor has achieve isunparalleled to any other sector”, she sums up.
