Sajid Khan used to call me Mytho King : Kartikey Malviya

Child actor Kartikey Malviya, who is just 12 years old has set to fire the screen with his powerful performance in Swastik Productions new show Shani, where he is playing the lead role. Kartikey, who hails from Itasri, Madhya Pradesh, is the first runner-up of India's Best Dramebaaz season 2 and enthralled everyone with his stellar performance.

Kartikey adds, "In the first season of India's Best Dramebaaz, I got out and then my mother held my hand and taught me a lot. She was the one who helped me in my performance and gave me her full support. In fact, my whole family supported me. I am the first one in the family to join the entertainment industry." 

Talking about his experience in the reality show India's Best Dramebaaz, Kartikey says,"The experience in Dramebaaz was very good and I had a great time in the show. I have played so many mythological characters in the show that director Sajid Khan, who was one of the judges in the show, gave me the title of Mytho King, which I consider as a great compliment. When I auditioned for Shani, those experiences really worked." 

Kartikey, who is an eighth-grade student, goes to Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is getting immense support from his principal. He adds,"My principal is very nice to me and he granted me a leave for few moths so I can continue my work in Umargaun. He showed me his trust in me and I will not let him down. On the sets, whenever I am not shooting, my tutor comes and I do study in breaks. Creator Siddarth Kumar Tewary is a very intelligent and understanding producer."
