Actress and digital star Kubbra Sait who instantly rose to fame with Netflix’ Sacred Games is known for her bold and unfiltered personality. Often on Twitter she is seen raising her voice against issues that need to be highlighted. After expressing her views about Kabir Singh director Sandeep Vanga and the misogyny in the movie, recently, the actress slammed filmmaker Daniel Shravan over his disgusting remarks for rape and women.
Amidst the horrifying rape incidents happening in the country, Daniel Shravan wrote a distasteful Twitter post wherein he wrote that women should carry condoms and cooperate with rapists. His derogatory remarks didn’t go down well with netizens and he is being slammed all over the social media. Shravan, in his detailed post that has now been deleted, suggested that instead of calling for police help, women should carry condoms and cooperate with rapists in order save themselves from the fate of murder.
Shravan further claims that legalising ‘rapes without violence’ is the only way to control the brutal killings of rape victims. “Murder is a sin and a crime. Rape is a corrective punishment. No justice is going to happen with Nirbhaya Act or Priyanka Act. The agenda of rape is fulfilling the sexual needs of rapists based on that time or mood.”

Later, Daniel apologized on social media and deleted his posts. He backed his comments, saying that the lines were of a villain from his upcoming film, and that his audience have misunderstood him.
