Rumour column with Sailesh Lodha

Rumours are something actors encounter on a day to day level. While some deal with it patiently, others make a lot of hue and cry about how wrong the buzz is. Whether true or not, we are sure, rumours impact an actor's life to quite an extent and can be a major source of disturbance in their daily life.

In conversation with Sailesh Lodha aka Taarak Mehta from SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, we speak to the poet, anchor, narrator and actor in our Wednesday rumour coloumn!

What was the craziest rumor you have ever heard about yourself?

The craziest rumour I have heard about myself is that I divorced my wife to marry another woman.

What were your family's and friends' reactions towards it?

We laughed about it as I do not think there is anything we can do to control spreading of such baseless rumours.

If the person who is spreading the rumor ever comes in front of you, then what will you do to Him/her?

I would smile to him/her and tell the person that the rumour was wrong as it was his third marriage after two divorces (laughs).

Any advice for the celebrities who have to face such rumors day to day?

Just ignore it and let it not interfere your daily routine.

If you look back and remember the rumor, then how do you react? Do you laugh or get angry?

I was not angry but the rumour did upset me initially. But now it is alright, what has happened has to be forgotten.
