Rumors Debunked: Asin denies divorce claims; embraces blissful summer break with Rahul

Bollywood actress Asin, renowned for her unforgettable role as Kalpana Shetty in the blockbuster film Ghajini, recently took to social media to address ongoing rumors about her marital status. Reports had surfaced claiming that Asin and her husband Rahul Sharma were heading for a divorce. However, in a firm response shared on her Instagram Stories, Asin clarified that she and Rahul are currently enjoying their summer holidays together, dismissing the rumors as baseless and imaginative.

In her Instagram post, Asin wrote, "In the middle of our summer holiday right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless 'NEWS'. Reminds of the time we were sitting at home together with our families planning our wedding and we heard that we had broken up (laughing emoji) Seriously?! Pls do better. (Disappointed to have wasted 5mins of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this!) Have a great day you guys."

The speculation surrounding their relationship began when it was noticed that Asin had reportedly removed most of her pictures with Rahul from her Instagram account, leaving only one photo intact. This remaining photo, a black-and-white snapshot, was taken at their wedding reception and features the late actor Rishi Kapoor, who attended the event. Asin has also chosen to remove her wedding photos from her social media profile, leaving her last post dated October 2022, which captures moments from her daughter Arin's fifth birthday celebration.

Asin, who had achieved significant fame in Tamil and Telugu films, made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001. She then made a remarkable entry into Bollywood with Aamir Khan's Ghajini in 2008. Her talent and charm were evident in subsequent films such as Ready, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan, and Khiladi 786. However, after her marriage to Rahul in 2016, Asin decided to step away from the silver screen, focusing on her family life.

Asin and Rahul were blessed with a daughter named Arin in 2017, adding more joy to their lives.
