Rubina Dilaik on Ardh: I think more than excitement, it is the nervousness

Rubina Dilaik is gearing up for her Bollywood as well as digital debut with her upcoming film on Zee5, Ardh. The movie's trailer released just today, and one can say, so far, so good. The film features Rajpal Yadav and Hiten Tejwani in the leading roles along with Rubina.

It narrates the story of Rajpal Yadav, who plays a struggling actor in the movie that is based in the city of dreams, Mumbai. While Rubina plays his wife, Hiten seems to play his well-wisher cum friend. The trailer has opened up to a great response so far and has fans rooting for Rubina for her big debut.

India Forums reached out to her, and we asked her about her excitement as the release is close. She said,

I think more than excitement, it is the nervousness. I am really looking forward for the response, at a large scale. We have done our best, given our best of the potential, just waiting for the response, that is what matters to us at this point of time.

The movie also marks Palash Muchhal's directorial debut. Earlier, Rubina also spoke about the movie and said, ''As my debut project, I am all prepared to soak in the experience and learning that will come along the journey. I have stepped in with a blank slate, and I feel secure to have started my new innings with a visionary like Palash and a talented co-star as Rajpal Sir.''

Meanwhile, the movie is slated to release on ZEE5 on June 10.
