He is one of the most respected and recognized actors in not only television but Bollywood too. He juggles the best of both worlds and excels in all the projects he does. He is none other than, Ronit Roy.
Actor, Ronit Roy was last seen on television in the show, 'Itna Karo Naa Mujhe Pyaar' in the lead role and is best remembered for his role as K.D. Pathak in the courtroom drama, 'Adaalat'.
The actor is also a dignified Bollywood actor and has been a part of several big films. However, it seems there is no boundaries for the actor to keep soaring higher and higher.
Ronit Roy is set to make his Hollywood acting debut with an upcoming Indo-Hollywood production titled, 'The Field'. The films also stars actors Vineet Singh and Radhika Apte.
The actor mentioned he plays the role of an elder brother in the film and the crew includes Indian, British and American actors. He also stated that he begins shooting in April and the film is directed by an Indian director, Rohit Batra.
But, very few are aware that this project would not have been his debut project as he was earlier offered the film, 'Zero Dark Thirty' and TV series, 'Homeland'. However, he had to turn both of them down due to date clashes..
And amidst all the film projects, there are rumours about Ronit returning as lawyer, K.D. Pathak in the second season of 'Adaalat'.
We tried contacting Ronit, however, he remained unavailable for any comments.
