Ayaz Khan, who made his way to the small screen with MTV India Roadies a few years back, and also essayed a small role in Balaji's Kitani Mohabbat Hai, followed by DJ's Meri Toh Lag Gayi Naukari, a show which came to an abrupt end within a few months of its launch.

The latest buzz we hear about the actor is that he has been finalized to essay a lead role in DJ's next show on SAB TV titled, I Love My India.

"The show is tentatively expected to go on air by the 20th of February in the 8:00 PM slot, where currently Chintu Chinky airs. The channel is planning to change the time slot of Chintu Chinky and if things don't work out then the channel might pull the show off air", adds the source.

Arun Bali and Himani Shivpuri being a part of I Love My India had been reported earlier by Tellybuzz. Ayaz Ahmed would essay their son. The female lead is a newbie to the industry.

On contacting Ayaz Ahmed, he refused the buzz saying, "I am not interested in television and I am not doing anything right now. I don't want to comment."

We also hear that the promo for the show is being shot today and will hit the channel soon.

Well, Ayaz we hope your statement will change once the promo is on air.
