Several TV shows are going off-air and Kabhi kabhi iitefaq sey is one of them, which rolled out on January 3 this year. It was supposed to go off-air in the first week of August but the show has got a two-week extension. Actress Riya Bhattacharje, who plays the negative lead in the show, talks about extension and shares her views on the show going off-air.

Talking about the same, she says, "The show has got an extension of 2 weeks but it's like 'do pal ki khushi' because deep inside we all know that the journey will eventually come to an end after a few days. However, I am glad that the show isn't ending abruptly, it is reaching a logical ending. We will be getting more time to spend with the cast and crew on the set."

Talking about her role, Riya says, "The role of Akriti was one of the best roles which gave me joy as an actor and she managed to bring twists and turns to the show. The audience took time to accept me but they did love me and my character. It’s depressing when things don’t work out, but you have to be really strong and positive at that time,"

Revealing what all she'll be missing once the shoot gets wrapped up, the actress says, "I will miss shooting with my reel family as we have become very close. I'm going to miss our off-screen fun on set, like enjoying meals together and making reels. And it was amazing working with the cast and the crew. I have got a lot of happy memories to take from this show."

Is she delusional? I am yet to come across a post that says "I love akriti". She is the worst character in the show. Thanks to her and vanku this show drowned
