In a recent conversation with India Forums, actors Riva Arora and Jaiveer Juneja shared their thoughts on their upcoming show 'Power Of Paanch', why they wanted to be a part of their show, their take away, childhood memories and much more. So here's a dive into their interview.

How did you feel about working on a project with such a unique concept?

We were definitely over-excited! It was a mix of emotions—anticipation, sleepless nights, and excitement about this new venture. It felt like a dream come true for me as working on a magical, sci-fi project has always been on my bucket list.

Did the concept of "Power of Paanch" remind you of childhood shows?

Absolutely! It brought back memories of shows like Son Pari and Hatim. These kinds of magical shows inspired us during our childhood, and now, being a part of something similar feels surreal. For me, this role connected instantly because I always dreamed of doing something in the fantasy genre.

If you had to pick an elemental power in real life, what would it be

Riva: I’d choose the fire element. If there’s a problem, just burn it away!

Jaiveer: I’d go with air because it matches my personality—calm, cool, and collected. Plus, I could counter the fires if needed!

Both of us had a fun time imagining how these powers would work in real life and how they could solve problems in unique ways.

Any funny behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments during the shoot?

Oh, there were plenty! One standout moment was during a serious scene. We were all deep in discussion with serious expressions when our director, Jeetu Sir, played a random dance number. It was so unrelated to the scene that we burst out laughing and couldn’t stop! We ended up doing 101 takes because every time we tried to refocus, we’d laugh again.

How was your experience working with senior actors like Urvashi Ma’am and Barkha Ma’am?

It was incredible! Both are so supportive and humble. Initially, I was nervous working with Urvashi Ma’am because I had seen her on screen and admired her work. But she quickly made me feel comfortable. Barkha Ma’am, too, was amazing to learn from. Despite the generation gap, we never felt it because they treated us like equals and often stood up for us in tricky situations.

What about the fans' response to the teaser of "Power of Paanch"?

The fans are thrilled! Reading the comments under the teaser made us realize how unique and fresh the concept is. People are excited to see something beyond the usual crime and thriller dramas—it’s refreshing for the audience.

Can you share anything about your upcoming projects?

2025 is going to be a year full of surprises! There are many exciting things lined up, both for us as individuals and as a team. While we can't reveal much yet, expect some big announcements soon.

"Power of Paanch" seems to be a project filled with fun, laughter, and a lot of hard work. It’s not just a show, but a nostalgic trip for the audience and a dream come true for its cast. Stay tuned for more updates!
