Rishi Kapoor's Leaked Video: Bollywood Celebs demand strict action against Violation of Privacy...

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s two-year-long battle finally ended this week, after he breathed his last on Thursday. Several videos from the ICU and has funeral have been going viral. 

Yesterday, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) Chief Advisory Ashoke Pandit had taken to Twitter to strongly condemned the video of late actor Rishi Kapoor on the hospital bed trying very hard to breathe. The video saw veteran actor trying very hard to breathe and it was indeed a disturbing video. Not only the in-hospital video, a few pictures, and videos of his cremation also made their way to the internet.

Another video was leaked which featured son Ranbir Kapoor performing Puja on his mortal remains lying on the hospital bed.

Rishi Kapoor, who passed away on April 30, was admitted to Sri HN Reliance Foundation Hospital where he breathed his last. By the end of the day, a video of his from the hospital surfaced on the Internet.  

After the video of the late actor, Rishi Kapoor went viral; FWICE Chief Advisory Ashoke Pandit demanded strict action for breaching the privacy of the veteran actor. Soon after his notice, hospital authorities have now released an official statement.

In an official statement released over Twitter, Ashoke Pandit wrote, “@fwice_mum raises protest over viral video of #RishiKapoor Ji in ICU at HN hospital. The video is unethical -without permission &violates fundamental right to live with dignity-privacy of a legend who lived a glorious & dignified life& loved, regarded, held in high esteem by all.”

The hospital authorities have taken to social media to post about the same. Their message read, “A Facebook post on the official page of the hospital read: "A message from Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital''s management. #RespectForLife. It has come to our attention that a video of one of our patients is surfacing on digital media platforms. At Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, patient confidentiality and privacy is of utmost importance to us and we strongly condemn such actions. The hospital management is investigating the incident and strict action will be taken against the perpetrators.”

In 2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, following which the actor was in New York for nearly a year to undergo treatment. He returned to India in September 2019 after recovering.

However, the actor faced a cancer relapse and succumbed to death. Rishi is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor and kids Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahani.
