We all are well versed with the acting skills of beautiful Ridhi Dogra Vashisth who is currently seen on Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum.
Ridhi is not only good at acting but at the same time, she is also creative and that's the reason why she recently turned a creative for Director Waseem Sabbir's much talked about music video of the Telly Town - O Meri Jaan. While the idea originated from the mind of Waseem, Ridhi accelerated it with her creativity and made it beautiful.
TellyBuzz spoke to Ridhi to know more about this project and her experience as a creative for this music video.
Talking about the music video, Ridhi says, "Waseem sir wanted to make a music video. It's a romantic song but it has been given a twist of a father-daughter's relationship. The video gives a message about raising your daughter with love and give her the best in life. As parents, we try to inculcate positivity and strength in our girl child so that she chooses the right path. The music video will give you a message - Raise your daughter like a princess and she will make you proud."
So, how Ridhi turned a creative for this video? When we asked about it, she said, "I am very fond of writing. Waseem is a friend so he shared this concept with me and RaQesh. We thought of making this music video around a cause. I told some of my friends like Ravi Dubey, Sargun Mehta, Karan V Grover, Surbhi Jyoti, Iqbal Khan, Meiyang Chang, etc. about it and they joined us for this cause. I really got involved in the process of making this video. I felt as if I am back to my old days when I used to run around with so many things related to the production stuffs when I was associated with a reputed channel."
"It was so good to be associated with Waseem sir and he was doing such a good thing that I wanted to be associated with him in this project. I wasn't shooting for Diya Aur Baati Hum then so I gave time to this. It's just the beginning; we would love to do more of such things in future."
We wonder if Ridhi is satisfied with the outcome of the video. When we asked her about it, she told us, "I am very happy with the outcome. RaQesh (RaQesh Vashisth) is currently busy with his exhibitions and he is looking forward to hold an exhibition related to this cause. We want to make noise about it. The video conveys a very sweet message - Daughters are beautiful and raise them beautifully."
Way to go Ridhi!
