Ridhi Dogra - Producer turns Actor..

REAL TV is all set to launch in March with some promising and unique shows. Hindi Hai Hum, produced by Swastik Pictures is one of them which brings a fresh new face to the limelight, Ridhi Dogra.

"I'm happy to bag the lead role in the upcoming channel. I had never thought I would essay the main character of Bubbly Tripathi", says Ridhi.
 
Talking about the role she states, "My character is very chirpy and happy-go-lucky types. She loves her family as I do in real life. Things slowly change when her mother tells her to join English tutors. There she meets someone which brings a twist in the tale. For that one needs to wait for the launch of the show".
 
Talking about her background, Ridhi quips, "Yes for the first time I'm facing the camera, I have been behind the camera earlier. I was co-producing a show for a channel".
 
Ridhi was producing a show for Zoom. "Then I felt why not take a chance and go in front of camera? I got this show through auditions and look tests, and am happy that my capabilities got tested and I came out with flying colors", she chirps.
 
Elaborating on the difference between acting and producing, she verbalizes, "Both are good and I enjoyed both, producing as well as acting. I was content while producing and will be the same while acting. All I can say is that I didn't know one needs so much of patience to get into acting. Now I have realized what actors have to go thorough while auditioning for a show or a film. Being on the other side, I never knew this".
 
"When I was producing, I always had the notion that the grass is greener on the other side. Today being here, I feel my thought process was right. I wish people love me and my show. I am eagerly waiting for the serial to come on air", she concludes.
 
Let's see whether the grass remains green for Ridhi once the show comes on air!!
