Riddhima Kapoor confirms: Mom Neetu Kapoor has tested negative for Covid-19

In a sign of relief, actress Neetu Kapoor has recovered from the virus and tested negative for COVID-19.

Neetu’s daugter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirmed the same on social media. She shared a happy selfie with her mom as she wrote, “Thank you for all your good wishes & prayers - My mother has tested Covid negative today.”

Neetu, along with her co stars Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul had tested positive for Coronavirus while shooting for the film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ in Chandigarh. Neetu was airlifted to Mumbai through an air ambulance.

On Thursday, Neetu Kapoor had shared in a statement about her diagnosis, "Earlier this week, I tested positive for COVID-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor's advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe, wear a mask and keep safe distance. Take care.”

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is under quarantine while Anil Kapoor had confirmed that he had tested negative. The shooting of the film has been stalled until further notice.
