Reliance Big Productions to make a biggie for Imagine..

Imagine is looking to win the loyalty of viewers with its upcoming unique concepts that focus on the contemporary issues prevalent in our country. While Aarakshan focuses on the problems that today's youth face with the existence of the reservation quota, Reliance Big Productions' upcoming show on Imagine will have the backdrop of the rift happening in Mumbai between the Maharashtrians and the UP.

Our source tells us, "The show produced by Reliance Big Productions which is tentatively titled 'Begaani Zameen' will talk of such a land dispute happening between the Marathis and the UP based people. The show will be shot in the unexplored locales of Mumbai and also in UP. Recently, the unit shot for a promo at the VT Station of Mumbai, which is a first after the 26/11 attack".

We hear that Mukul Chhablani now known as Mukul Harish who is presently seen playing the role of Madhur in Zee TV's Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo will play the male lead in the show.

Our source further tells us, "Mukul Harish has been roped in to play the challenging role of the lead. He has been doing his character study for a while, to get into the skin of the role. Though known names like Aditi Sajwan and Bhavna Khatri were short listed to play the female lead, it will most probably be a new face Benazir who has bagged the female lead's role".

We hear that Benazir if finalized, will be the next big beauty to get introduced to television. Above all, the role that she will be playing is apparently a challenging one that will facilitate in propelling her to the top. Most of the cast in the show are said to be having a theatre background.

We tried contacting Mukul Harish, but he refused to comment.

Our efforts to get in touch with Jayesh Patil, Fiction Head, Reliance Big Productions were in vain.
