Reel Life Siblings turn into Real Life Couple..!!

In a one-of-a-kind love stories that happen, on-screen siblings, Neeraj Malviya and Charu Asopa who play the characters of Amit and Preeti respectively are set to get engaged in real life.

Their characters of Amit and Preeti are siblings to each other on the show, 'Mere Angne Mein'. The couple denied reports of dating each other initially until announcing their engagement.

An elated Neeraj mentioned that they will exchange rings on February 17 in Bhopal. ANd that they haven't fixed a date for wedding yet looking for somewhere arounf February 2017.

The couple have been dating since Neeraj proposed to Charu on his birthday last year.

The actor's journey of love included the typical knowing-each-other to getting-in-love story. They knew each other initially where a common friend tried to get them together. And only after the duo started working together, the feelings strengthened. And after keeping the relationship a hush-hush one, Neeraj mentioned that they declared about it when the time felt right.

On their ethnicities, the actor said that Charu is from Bikaner and he is from Bhopal. The similarity in upbringing and common interests were instrumental in them getting close to each other. Also, Charu is a chaste Hindi speaker, something Neeraj wanted in her partner.

The couple, though play on-screen siblings don't usually have much scenes to perform together.

Commenting about how awkward it can get to play brother-sister on-screen, he said that once the camera is on, he becomes a thorough professional. But he feels that Charu might have a problem with it. Recalling one instance, he said that in one of the scenes, Charu had to call him 'Amit bhaiya', however, she instead chose to call me as 'Amitji'.
