Ravi Dubey and Rubina Dilaik honored with Dada Saheb Phalke Award!

Nothing feels great when your hard work is acknowledged and appreciated! Two talented actors of the Telly town Rubina Dilaik and Ravi Dubey, are on cloud nine after getting appreciated for their hard work for which they have been awarded with the very prestigious award Dada Saheb Phalke Award for doing their best in the field of acting.

Last year the very prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Awards also started felicitating television actors for their work in the industry and Gautam Rode and Hina Khan received the awards.This year, the actor Ravi Dubey who is currently seen on Zee TV's popular show Jamai Raja and Rubina Dilaik of Chhoti Bahu.. Sindoor Bin Suhaagan fame have won this very prestigious award.

TellyBuzz spoke to the actors to know more about their feeling on receiving this award.

Rubina shares, "It's an immense gratitude because it's an honor to receive the award which is the 'Father' of all the awards. Receiving this award has given me an absolute encouragement so that I can perform even better and give my best to it. Now, I have been honored with the 'Father' of all the awards, it's a promise to myself that I would be able to keep up to myself to the level of the performance that I have given so far. I owe my success credit to my Mother as it's because without her encouragement, I had not been able to grow and become what I am today. She has always supported me throughout. It's a best feeling for an actor to get appreciated for their work. This acknowledgment is so precious that it has become a source of encouragement for me to become better with my performance and entertaining skills."  

Elated Ravi told us, "It's a fabulous feeling to receive this award. As compared to all other awards, it's truly an honor to receive an award like this and it encourages you for further good work. I am very happy that they have acknowledged my hard work and have found me worthy of this award. I owe my success credit to Sargun. She is younger than me but she has taught so many things to me. She is one path breaking individual that I have come across in my life. I also would like to give my success credit to my family because there have been times when I may not have faith in myself but my Mom, Dad and my wife have always shown immense faith in me. So, I would like to dedicate this award to all these three people in my life. The major contribution has also be my show Jamai Raja because the show has given me an opportunity to come out as a performer. I would like express my deep gratitude to the show Jamai Raja. You come across a lot of acknowledgement while doing television but this is something really very special. I have immense gratitude and great feeling on receiving this award."
