Raveena Tandon shares rare pic of Sam Manekshaw and her father Ravi Tandon from 'Majboor' set

Vicky Kaushal's stellar performance in Sam Bahadur has not only captivated audiences but also garnered praise from critics. As social media continues to buzz with accolades for the film directed by Meghna Gulzar, actress Raveena Tandon shared a heartwarming throwback memory related to the legendary Sam Manekshaw.

Taking to her social media, Raveena posted a monochromatic picture featuring Sam Manekshaw and her late father, director Ravi Tandon, from the sets of the 1974 release, Majboor. 

The film starred megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Parveen Babi, among others. In the caption, Raveena expressed her gratitude to both figures, referring to them as "two heroes in one frame." She acknowledged Sam Manekshaw's monumental contribution to the country as the Son of the Motherland and hailed her father, Ravi Tandon, as a "savior for many" through his social work. 

She wrote, "Two Heroes in one Frame … One, Sam Manekshaw, to whom this country and its generations will forever be grateful, the Son of our Motherland... and the Other My Hero, Ravi Tandon, A Son of the Soil, A savior for many with his social work and my inspiration forever... #sammanekshaw #sambahadur visited my dad #ravitandon on the sets of Majboor (@amitabhbachchan ji) in 1974 @vickykaushal09 @meghnagulzar #sambahadur."

For the unversed, Sam Bahadur is a historical biopic drama depicting the life of Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army officer promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. 

Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon is set to feature in the upcoming instalment of the Welcome franchise, titled Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film will mark her reunion with Akshay Kumar after a considerable period.
