Rashami Desai on what fascinated her about Meenakshi in Wagle Ki Duniya: 'Experiences void & absence of child'

Rashami Desai, who is all set to make a comeback on television with Sony SAB's 'Wagle Ki Dunia' after a brief hiatus recently revealed why did her character Meenakshi fascinate her.

Speaking to Pinkvilla about the same, the actress says that she has always been drawn to characters that are rich in emotions and depth. ''I have always been drawn to characters that leave a lasting impact, ones that are rich in emotions and depth. Meenakshi fascinated me because, despite having everything one could ask for, she still experiences an unshakable void in her life and the absence of her child,'' the actress says.

The actress then heaps praises on the cast and crew of the show and says, ''Her journey is filled with raw emotions, inner conflicts, and an unspoken yearning that will resonate deeply with many viewers. Being a part of Wagle Ki Duniya is an incredible experience. The cast and crew have been so warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of a family from the very beginning.''

On the work front, Rashami, last seen in a Gujarati film titled 'Mom Tane Nai Samjay,' is making her television comeback after a brief appearance in Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 6. The actress has been a part of popular projects in the OTT and film space too and has appeared in shows like 'Tandoor,' 'Ratri ke yaatri' and more. The actress is best known for her performance in shows like Uttaran and Dil se dil tak opposite the late Siddharth Shukla.

As for Wagle Ki Duniya, the show features Sumeet Raghvan in the lead role.
