Bollywood celebrities have often changed their names out of superstitious beliefs or numerology and hence it does not come as a shocker when the small screen actors follow the suit.

Raqesh Vashisht has acquired sustainable fame in Bollywood as well as Television. The hotty who's original surname is Bapat changed it to Vashisht when he initially entered Bollywood as he thought it was 'apt'.

An out an out entertainer, Raqesh kept the movie goers and the television viewing audience glued and gripped to their TV screens carrying the 'Vashisth' surname.

But now, the actor has decided to go back to square one by changing his surname to Bapat again!

Raqesh quipped, "I do not believe in numerology or its likes. Initially, I changed my surname from Bapat to Vashisht but now with my debut in the Marathi cinema, I have decided to stick to my original surname. Change is vital!"

I saw Raquesh in a few movies and liked his performance. My aunt is a big fan of his from his Maryada days. As Asad I liked him (he did well considering he had to replace someone else) but wish he had not had to do that, coz it's always a strange scenario. But he is a talented actor for sure, and I like his dialogue delivery and screen presence.
