Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is set to be honored at the upcoming Red Sea International Film Festival, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema. The festival, scheduled to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will also bestow honors upon actor Diane Kruger and actor-writer Abdullah Al-Sadhan, as reported by Variety.

The festival, commencing on November 30 and spanning until December 9, will open with Iraqi director Yasir Al-Yasiri’s fantasy film, "HWJN." Ranveer Singh, often hailed as an icon of Hindi cinema, will be acknowledged for his dynamic and versatile performances that have left an indelible mark on the industry.

Mohammed Al-Turki, the CEO of the Red Sea Film Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for this year's honorees in a statement. Al-Turki described Ranveer Singh as an icon of Hindi cinema and highlighted Diane Kruger's impactful portrayals, ranging from Helen of Troy to her powerful performance in "In the Fade."

The festival's recognition of Abdullah Al-Sadhan also underlines his significant contributions to Saudi entertainment, notably through his longstanding association with "Tash ma Tash" for two decades, as well as his role in the competition title "Norah."

Ranveer Singh, last seen in Karan Johar's "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" alongside Alia Bhatt, continues to be a powerhouse performer in the Indian film industry. His upcoming projects include Rohit Shetty's "Singham Again" and the highly anticipated "Don 3." The recent unveiling of first-look posters from "Singham Again" has heightened anticipation among fans.

The Red Sea International Film Festival, now in its third edition, aims to celebrate and recognize the diverse contributions of global talents to the world of cinema. Ranveer Singh's inclusion in the list of honorees further cements his status as a trailblazer in Indian cinema, bringing well-deserved acclaim on the international stage.
