Rang De Basanti Would've Been Better If Adapted To Digital Series

Actor R. Madhavan has done some phenomenal work in the South and Bollywood Industry. After making us admire his characters on big screens, the actor is now setting his foot in to digital content. Yes, the actor will be seen in 'Breathe', an Amazon original web series.

Talking about Madhavan's movies, the one character that touched her hearts was that of Flight Lt. Ajay Rathod in the iconic film Rang De Basanti. The film still remains one of the finest Bollywood movies for its interesting concept and lot more.

We recently chatted with Madhavan for his upcoming web series Breathe and amidst the conversation; he was asked to pick one of his movies which could have been better if turned into a web series.

The actor instantly responded saying, "Rang De Basanti!"He also revealed the reason behind his choice stating, "That's because so many things you could have said about it. For example, my character was only for 9 minutes. But in those 9 minutes, I had to come across as a patriot who the country loved, I had to come across as a good son- who the mother adored, I had to come across as a lover, I had to come across as a good friend".

"Generally, people take the whole film to showcase all of these but I had to show all these in just 9 minutes. But by God's grace, the film did wonders then. But I would have loved to have more time", added the actor.

Amazon Prime Original's upcoming digital series 'Breathe' starring R Madhavan, Amit Sadh, and Sapna Pabbi also stars child artist Atharva Vishwakarma. The series is slated to release their first 3 episodes on 26^th January 2017.
