Randeep Rai, currently seen in Balika Vadhu 2, has been shooting with a fractured left hell. The actor spoke about the same to Times of India and mentioned how he fractured his heel last Saturday and it was the second day of shooting the college track, about which he was so excited. He revealed how the scene required him to make a heroic entry but he stumbled over something and landed on his left heel with a lot of force. As a result, he is on a wheelchair and can't walk properly.
However, the actor has been on the sets and is shooting close ups. In fact, he even shared a picture from the shoot on social media. He revealed how he posted about it on Instagram because fans were wondering if something was wrong with his track and how there is no option but to continue shooting and they don't have a bank. He revealed how his dup is shooting most of his scenes.
The doctor has advised him to take it easy for at least eight weeks and he hopes to recover before that. He says that he is hoping to be able to walk in three weeks and also mentioned how he is grateful to his house help for taking care of him.
He also revealed how it has been rather tiring to shoot on a wheelchair. He adds, “I am shooting my scenes with the assistant director rather than my co-actors. It gets difficult to enact emotional scenes sitting on a wheelchair. It is frustrating to shoot with a fractured heel, but I can't anything hamper my performance. I am dealing with things in a positive manner now. I can’t do anything about it. Ho chuka jo hona tha. Initially, I was upset. However, I decided not to think about it too much and focus on how I can work despite the setback.”
India Forums wishes him a speedy recovery!
