CINE 1 Studios filed a plea in the Delhi High Court, seeking to halt the OTT release until T-Series complied with the agreed-upon terms of ownership and distribution. The two production houses, represented by senior advocates Sandeep Sethi and Amit Sibal, eventually reached a settlement, putting an end to the legal tussle and allowing the much-anticipated film to make its streaming debut on Netflix.
