During the recent trailer launch, Ranbir Kapoor took a poignant trip down memory lane, remembering his late father, Rishi Kapoor, while discussing his preparation for the role.

At the grand trailer launch on November 22, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about the unique process of preparing for his character in 'Animal.' Expressing his dedication to the craft, he revealed, "I think eventually sub-consciously mujhe mere papa ki yaad aa gayi…I think jis tareeke se vo baat karte the, he was a very passionate aggressive man ke jaise (I think eventually it reminded me of my father, the way he used to speak like a very passionate and an aggressive man)."

The 3-minute 32-second trailer, unveiled at the event, provides a glimpse into the film's plot, revolving around an intense father-son relationship. Rashmika Mandanna, in the role of Geetanjali, serves as Ranbir's love interest, while Anil Kapoor portrays the character of Balbir Singh, Ranbir's father.
