On the 6th death anniversary of his mother Kamlesh Yadav's death, Bollywood star Rajkummar Rao took to Instagram to pay tribute to her. With a photo of his late mother's portrait from his wedding with Patralekhaa, he shared a glimpse of an emotional occasion.
“It’s been 6 years Maa, since you left us but I know you are always there with me. I’ll always keep you in my heart and I know you’re always there to guide me, protect me, love me and bless me.”
He further added to the heartfelt note,
“I’m a very proud son and I’ll always try and make you a proud Mother. You will always be my Hero. I love you Maa. ❤️.”
The photo was taken during Rajkummar's wedding ceremony in Chandigarh, where he tied the knot. On D-Day, Pratalekhaa and Raj both built a shrine to honour their late parents.
It was while filming for his film 'Newton' that Rajkummar's mother passed away in 2016. Meanwhile, Rao was most recently seen in the comedy-drama 'Badhaai Do,' in which he co-starred with Bhumi Pednekar.
On workfront, he will be next seen in the movies like ‘Monica, O My Darling’, ‘Bheed’, ‘Guns and Gulaabs’ and Bhushan Kumar’s upcoming untitled film in which he will be essaying the role of the visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla.
