Rajkummar Rao admits he is ‘not too proud’ of some films: "I could have not done them”!

The latest episode of Arbaaz Khan’s chat show ‘Pinch’ season 2 is all set to feature Bollywood’s one of the most talented actors Rajkummar Rao. Arbaaz will be seen pinching Rao with questions about the criticism and the troll he has received from social media users.

Now, a teaser of the new episode has finally made it to the internet. The show's format sees Arbaaz hurl mean tweets at his guest, to spark a reaction in them. 

Following the show’s format, the first comment that Arbaaz Khan read out appeared to be from a fan, who called Rajkummar a ‘super-duper actor’ and advised him, ‘hero mat ban (don’t try to be a hero)’.

Rajkummar reacted to the troll and said that people expect him to give importance to performances and not stardom. Clearly, the Stree actor had the most savage take on the comments he received from the troll.

He said, “Inko lagta hai, ‘Tum acting karo please. We love you as an actor. Baaki bohot log hai, tum please acting pe dhyaan do’ (These people feel that I should focus on acting, they love me as an actor. They feel that there are many others who can become heroes and want me to concentrate on acting alone).”

In the promo, Arbaaz read out another comment from a fan who urged Rajkummar not to star in films that waste his talent. The 36-year-old actor also admitted to being dissatisfied with some of his films.

“Kuch ek-do films aisi ki hai maine zindagi mein jinpe I am not too proud. Nahi bhi karta toh chal sakta tha. Kuch films hoti hai jo box office ke liye hoti hai, kuch films hoti hai jo life ke liye hoti hai (There are one or two films that I am not too proud of. I could have not done them. You do some films for the box office and you do some for life),” Rajkummar Rao said, in his latest appearance on Pinch season 2.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar Rao has several interesting projects in the pipeline including ‘Hit’ which stars Sanya Malhotra and ‘Badhaai Do’ with Bhumi Pednekar. He is also set to be part of Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi's ‘Monica, O My Darling’ directed by Vasan Bala.

While the first season gained extreme popularity, audiences were waiting for the show to make a comeback with it's second season. Well, there could have been no better way to kickstart Season 2 with Arbaaz welcoming his elder brother Salman as the guest and confronting him with some 'Pinch'ing questions.
