Radhika Yadav Murder: Who is Inaam Ul Haq? Musician allegedly close to deceased worked with Sumbul Touqeer

The horrific killing of international table tennis player Radhika Yadav by her father, Deepak Yadav in Gurugram has shocked India. The 25-year-old died after three bullets were fired into her by her father. It seems she wanted to open a table tennis academy and her father was not in favour of the same. He has reportedly told the police that he was taunted by the villagers from Wazirabad for living off his daughter’s earnings. On social media (especially X) many have said that his daughter wanted to become a content creator on Instagram. Her father and she had arguments on the same, which led to this tragic outcome.

However, some netizens have raised the conversation about Love Jihad in the context of her music video, Karwaan with musician Inaam Ul Haq. He has now opened up to News 18 saying he just knew her as a co-star and they were not even in touch as friends. A composer Inaam Ul Haq has sung the ballad Shazishen that featured Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Sumedh Mudgalkar. He said he came to know about Radhika Yadav in Chandigarh when a friend said she is keen to explore the world of acting.

Inaam Ul Haq said her mother had accompanied her to the shoot of Karwaan. He said when Radhika Yadav made her father listen to the song he liked it a lot. Inaam Ul Haq said it was a normal music video and there was no skin-ship involved. The video came out in June 2024. Inaam Ul Haq said that Radhika Yadav did not promote the song or video on her Instagram account. He said her grandfather had passed away and he assumed she was in the mourning phase. Inaam Ul Haq said she would deactivate her account time and again.

On the other hand, it is being said that Radhika Yadav had asked for Rs two crores to start an academy. People are also denying Deepak Yadav’s lack of money claims saying he makes close to Rs 15 lakh per month from rent.
