Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka will launch on December 7th at the 9.30 PM slot, which means Sagar Arts' show, Basera which airs at the same slot will undergo a change..

Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka, the show which dwells into the past lives of people will launch on NDTV Imagine on December 7th, at the 9.30 PM slot, Monday to Thursday.

This means Sagar Arts' Basera which airs at the same time slot of 9.30 PM will undergo a change. The promos of Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka hitting the television tubes from December 7th is already on air.

According to our source, "The TRP of this larger than life portrayal which has many big names has not been good ever since its launch, and there is every chance of the show going off air. However, the channel and production house have not reached on any decision with regards to the future of Basera".

A source from the channel told us, "Two options are open as of now; the show might go off air, or might get a change in time slot. However, nothing has been decided yet".

We talked to Amit Jain and Priya Bhatija who said, "We have not been shooting for the show for the past two weeks, as have no news on anything".

Pallavi Subhash though expressed her surprise over this development and told us, "Yes, I too got to know of this thro the promo that is being aired on Imagine. I tried calling my production team for an answer, but all I got to know was that the production team and channel authorities were busy in a meeting, discussing the same. Also, we have a break in shoot today as our screenplay is not ready. So things will be clearer, when I go for my shoot tomorrow".

We tried calling Shiv Sagar of Sagar Arts, but he was busy in a meeting and asked us to call later…

Coming over to Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka, the channel and production house believe that this unique show and its concept will attract viewers. Many big names like Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Celina Jaitley, Sushmita Sen, Shekhar Suman, Neil Nitin Mukesh have been approached to take part in the show.

The show will be hosted by talented Ravi Kissan..

As we wait to know more about the past lives of our favorite celebrities, we also look forward to see what future has in store for Basera…

Onto serious stuff, Keshu absolutely IS a Walia continuation -- there's NOTHING about Keshu which hasn't been seen in Walia.

KS tanked in its last year -- it stuggled to keep up with the shows on its own channel, let alone others! When Walia wasn't enough to boost that show, a continuation of that SAME character won't do anything! Basera right now is in the same miserable TRP state as KS in it's last year :-(

Anyways, if a character fails (for whatever reason), it's not good. Again, I must agree with that article which mentioned miscasting -- that the leads simply do not fit the characters, and so they don't work!

You're telling me that the Agle Janam and Bairi Piya characters came before DM? hehehe! Nah, DM came before them, and just like Bajaj, and Aparajit Deb, he set the trend for those characters. The Big B's of the big and small screen are truly trendsetters brother!

The stuff about shows ending and my argument not working... I don't get it! I'm talking about SAME characters by SAME actors!

Without trying to go off topic, you're saying that I'm following an actor around... yaar, my favourite show runs on Imagine, and so I want a popular show to be placed before it (good for channel, and good for my show also!). Therefore, of course I'm interested in the success of a 9:30pm show!

basera is a dud... hence the reason why I'm looking forward to it being replaced with a show that people will ACTUALLY watch! I want Imagine to do well because it's a great channel!

Anyways, forget me following an actor (lol)... it seems like you know too much about me (this is the 1st time I've ever come across you!)... I'd go as far as saying that despite not being liked, I'm being followed...

Although it's "unusual", I guess I should praise "patience", right? :-)

Sonia i agree with you.

Some poplar shows are copied over & over. Some people may find Bandini or Betaab similar to Kasam se.

Problem with basera is creatives have still not made use of great actors & good concept.If they could hen this is a different show without typical love story of main protogonist & saas/nanand bahu saga

Lord -Mangeswar ,u have full rights to talk about the show but u r not supposed to insult the actors who r giving their best n working so hard 4r the show.BASERA's script is really a gud one but the creatives who r at fault completely failed to excute it properly.
anyone is to be blamed then it should be creative team not the actors.actors r doing their best according to the script they r given.so plz my friend even if u dont like the actors ,there is no need to insult them.if u dont like the show ,thats ok ,its ur personnal.but regarding actors plz dont insult them.

Basera has a group of extremely talented actors. All the actors have given good performances and its only the creatives who are at fault for not doing a good job with the screenplay. The fantastic group of actors had the potential to carry this serial to success but the creatives did not support them!

... that a boring show like Basera (or rather, Besura) is being taken out of such an important timeslot.

Besura has been a failure from the word go, as it has NOTHING interesting to offer at all. The characters are boring, and the acting is TERRIBLE -- not a single cast member has impressed so far. One of the reasons for the high profile failure of this show is that the main characters are total miscasts! It's no wonder that audiences are rejecting the characters and the show!

The Gujarati delivery is 3rd class stuff brother! I hate the damage that they are doing to such a wonderful language.

RPJK definitely has a great chance of joining shows like Palkhon Ki Chhaon Mein, Bandini, and Jyoti in the hit ranks of NDTV Imagine.

I'm looking forward to finally seeing good use of Imagine's 9:30pm timeslot... because let's face it, the current 9:30pm show is a dud!
