The upcoming show on Star Bharat titled RadhaKrishn, is going to be a take on the age old saga of love that we all know.

While Swastik Productions stakes a whopping Rs.150 crore on the venture, we couldn't help but wonder what's going to be different about this version of the tale of Radha and Krishna. Turns out the actors too are emphasizing the importance of a fresh take.

We asked actor Sumedh Mudgalkar who will play the role of Krishn on the show about his role and how he plans on dealing with competition.

TV has had many actors play essay the mesmerising god on screen and we wondered how his onscreen portrayal will stand out. To this he said, "Competition is something we face when we try to one up someone and try to be better than them. But, we are not competing with the other Radha-Krishna jodis of TV. For us I'm Krishn and Mallika is Radha, so there is no question of competition."

The actor further went on to explain how they intend to play their roles to the best of their ability adding individual touches. He also spoke about not doing any homework related to studying other actors' works who have played Krishn before.

Meanwhile, Mallika Singh says, "I feel honoured to be able to play Radha on screen, it is my first role and staying true to character is important to me."
