"People think doing daily soaps is a cake walk"

The talented actor Jay Soni who is seen playing the role of Jai Kishan in Swapna Waghmare's popular daily soap Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki on Colors', says that daily soaps are a bigger commitment than marriage. On the same we got in touch with him to know on why does he feel so.

Jay said, "Daily soaps need a lot of dedication and hectic work hours whereas I feel in marriage that is not required. When you get married you can go on a vacation and have ample of time to spend with family and friends which is not at all possible when you are shooting. Even if we want to take a small break  it has to be taken not when we wish to but when there is no work."

Further he added, "People think that doing a daily soap is a cake walk but the fact is that it is very tough and not easy as we think. There is a lot of hard work and commitment needed. An actor has to work nonstop without any complaints of being tired. So also have to be portraying the emotions of the character that you are portraying donned in the show."

"But apart from the commitment difference between doing a daily soap and getting married, I love acting and the creative process behind it. Acting is my only passion and  I love my work as an actor."

On his plans after finishing Sanskaar, he said "I want to for a long holiday to Europe. I would also love to do movies if I get good offers. I would be very happy if I get to do films like Go Goa Gone."
