The Vikas Gupta-Parth Samthaan controversy has left the viewers and fans shocked and confused as to what the actual matter is? While eminent faces from the industry are seen extending their support towards Vikas, Fans all over the social media, have clubbed together in Parth's defence.
To get an exact idea and the minutest of details on the whole issue, we at Tellybuzz got in touch with both Vikas and Parth, to hear out their versions on the same.
Read on to know about what Vikas Gupta has to say about it...
Vikas, there has been a lot of speculation involved into what went wrong between you and Parth. Please give us a clear idea.
Look, I have just returned back from Hong Kong after 5 days and my lawyers and well-wishers have informed me about the amazing transformation that Parth has had. He has been telling the media about how thankful and grateful he is to me for helping him progress in his acting career. We have been best friends from 2 years now and I do not understand the logic behind why this person is sending me a legal notice accusing me of 14 criminal cases!
Everyone in the industry and the media is aware about the controversy between you and Parth. We at India-forums have seen the copy of the legal notice and have gone through the accusations and claims briefly. Also, Parth has thanked you for making him what he is today, as an actor. Your viewpoint.
I am very confused concerning to Parth's claims. I am happy to know that he has progressed to being a positive person but I really feel that this man is suffering from a split personality disorder. Parth sent me a legal notice accusing me of a host of crimes such as extortion, dishonest of property, cheating, and abatement to suicide, inappropriate touching and molestation on December 7 and now he is showing gratitude as if nothing has really happened!
This only proves that the allegations are baseless.
This controversy must have shaken you personally?
Obviously! It has affected not only me but my family too. I was in depression initially. I can't understand what Parth is upto because he first accused me and now he zeroes the case to non-payment of dues due to miscommunication.. everything else being perfect?
Everything else is not perfect, Parth Samthaan!
You have gone ahead and given a legal notice, accusing me of molestation, extortion, abatement to suicide. I would like to inform him that had I not collected a proof against things you claimed, I would be sitting in jail today. You think what you have done is very casual? You are not showing your true self to your fans or the public. You sent a legal notice to me, when my lawyers responded, you withdrew all your cases except for the non-payment of fees.
Why do you think Parth withdrew 13 cases out of 14?
I think that Parth did not realize that I will fight back, when he filed the case. I am on a position of power today. I headed a channel and programmed for them and have launched a production house. I have 10 years of work experience and have worked my ass off for reaching this stage in my career. I was really afraid that my career would be sabotaged as we live in a society, which is judgemental about everything.
How did your family react to this controversy?
When the police reached my place with summons, My mother was heart-broken. She did not know about anything that had taken place and I had to narrate it all to her. I guess I had no other option, but to be strong!
When I saw my family go through this, I decided to fight back till the end! We collected every single proof against all the charges. Especially the molestation case, where not only me but even Ekta Kapoor mentioned about how she had spot us together. Tell me one thing, would one ever go to a party with someone, who molested him?
Apart from Ekta's claim of watching us enjoy our New Year there, I have a proof of air tickets and our hotel reservations! This entire conspiracy, which he has set up against me is a sinking ship.
Out of the 14 accusations, one of them says that there is a loan due notice of non-payment. What do you want to say about this?
Parth Samthaan had hosted a show called, 'Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya' season 4 and 5 under my production house. He completed shooting for season 4 while he left the show in the middle of the 5th season. He informed me of receiving a film offer and his decision to leave the project mid-way, without even serving a notice period. Parth is unprofessional as an actor and it is because of him, that my company and my show had to suffer.
I do not owe him a penny! He owes me. But the only reason I was not making this a huge issue was because of his mother. We are family friends and hence I understood and decided to moved on.
Any message for Parth?
Just FYI Parth, I do not understand why you have filed a criminal case against me?! This is a civil case and when there is any problem between an actor and the production house, the case has to be against the production house. You were supposed to file a case against Lost Boy Productions and not me - Vikas Gupta!
Your personal vendetta on trying to extort money from me is not a right thing to do and the court will obviously decide and get back at you. But, what I would like to tell you at this point of time, jo bhi cheeze aapne kari is samay, aur jo bhi aap kar rahe hai from 14 crimes to 1 crime, and now that 1 crime also does not hold, because if you're going and saying, we owe you money, or my production house owes you any money, please give me the proof of document, which says we owe you money. You owe us money, for walking out of the show in the middle of the series.
You are getting all the flak from fans after your controversy… what do want to say about that?
The industry is supporting me while the fans are supporting him.
I think Parth is a very blessed boy. He has garnered followers, who are innocent and naive. They support him unconditionally. But then they need to understand that an actor enacts a character on-screen.
Look, Parth is no criminal. He just ended up doing something very wrong with me. Talking about people supporting me, forget my industry friends, I have big celebrities like Karan Patel and Karanvir Bohra, the people I have never worked with, voicing their support for me.
I have never cheated anyone for a single rupee in my life. I am a human being who has always helped people. So, when someone accuses me with the kind of cases that I have been accused with, obviously people will come out and support the truth. But nonetheless, the truth will prevail. Parth has been changing his statements time and again because his accusations are based on loopholes and lies.
Please shed some light on the molestation charge.
Let me just put this very clear now in the open, Viacom is listening to this, MTV is listening to this and so is everyone else. Heading MTV Programming is one of my biggest achievements in life. I was the youngest channel head ever, to head MTV across the world. If somebody tries to defame me professionally, they are going to get the taste of their own medicine.
What about you forcing him to quit 'Kaisi Hai Yaariaan'?
I have a call recording available, where I am suggesting him that he should not leave 'Kaisi Hai Yaariaan' and that it is a good show for him. But he still went ahead and reasoned out on why he wanted to quit the project. He elaborated his problems to the production house, abused his co-star, Niti Taylor and now I am forced to share this recording in order to justify myself.
Your last words to our readers and Parth...
I really wish you all the best, Parth Samthaan. I wish your film does well, honestly.
The only thing that I want from you is a public apology, stating that what you have done to me is wrong and that you will not repeat this henceforth.
I will submit all the proofs to the court, where he will be proved wrong.
I don't want any compensation from you; I just want the truth to come out. I am sure the court will go ahead and make you apologise for what you have done. I have seen my mother cry because of this 'fake' legal notice that you sent us. It is completely unacceptable for a middle class person to forget such a thing. Whether I helped you or not, whether we were friends or not, you cannot do this to anyone. It is wrong legally, morally, emotionally, mentally, in every single way.
I am sorry I have gotten emotional and aggressive while talking because I and my family have gone through a lot in the last two months. There are people talking rubbish about me, because one actor has said something that has really hurt my reputation, it has emotionally and mentally fu#&*d me. I am hurt all the more because, this comes from one of my close friends.
There is a reason why you have done this Parth, which is better known to you than to me... It is your lies Vs the truth, it will come out in the open and I am waiting for the court to take a ruling and they will do the right thing. Truth will triumph over evil!

Well,I think he is desperate to destroy parth's career.At one point, he says parth is doing all this for his movie publicity but when the controversly started to fade away,he again triggered it.Well,it seems like he needs publicity more than parth and the picture tweeted actually raised questions about his preference. Request to all actors under vg production house please aware on vg with you...
