"I was desperate to tell my fans that I am indeed playing Komolika"

Says Hina Khan, who marked her entry into Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 last night.

The wait is finally over and Hina Khan has entered the show as Komolika in Star Plus Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. We at India Forums, got in touch with the actor about the same.

Hina who is very much excited about the show says, "I am very excited to play Komolika. I am loving being in character and doing my lines. It is so much fun and is very different from what I have done. I am loving this space."

When asked about her experience on the sets so far, Hina says, "It has been a very nice experience working on the sets so far. I met all the family members and they are all very nice. I am new on the set, but touch wood - its been great until now."

Hina's character was kept under the wraps for a very long time. Did she ever feel like revealing the secret? She says, "I used to always feel that I should tell people, my fans and not the media. Sometimes I felt like I should have a fan's mobile number and dial from me an unknown number and tell them that I was indeed playing the character. Because there have been instances where fans have literally cried for some clarity. But I think it was worth the wait."

Hina also got a lot of appreciation for her look, "I got a lot of appreciation for my look and people especially loved my nath. There are makeup tutorials everywhere on Komolika's look, so what can be better that that? The look is the team's effort, everyone had their input and eventually all wanted the character to look good."

Well, the actress' entry in last night's episode was a huge success and Hina has been receiving a positive feedback.
