"I am in Nach Baliye only to compete with my Baliye Arvindji"

How supportive has Arvind ji been throughout the journey?

He has been 100% supportive. He would come to the sets of Diya Aur Baati Hum and rehearse with me when I would get a break. He was not even required to come there but he still did. He motivates me to give my best in Nach Baliye. Every time we tried doing different things, it came as a challenge for me. My children and my husband have supported me always whenever I even thought it was getting tough.

What has been the most memorable performance so far?

There have been many such performances. If I had to mention a few of them then it would be the Lavni act, the Govinda act of Sarkaai Lo Khatiyaa, and the act in which I played the avatar of all the 9 Devis. Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone, and Akshay Kumar said that they got goosebumps during the performance since they felt as if a real Devi was on stage. That was a big compliment for me. We also got good complements for our Charlie act. So, being a non-professional dancer, such compliments makes us feel great. 

Did you expected to reach at this stage of the competition?

Honestly, I didn't ever expect but the love of the audience, the support of my family and Shashi & Sumeetji along with the entire production house, channel has all taken us to this level.  I am so thankful to them for making my dream come true.

What was the best compliment you have ever received so far?

Terence sir once said, "You have never gone off-beat from the very beginning till now". Another good compliment I received from Sajid sir was, "You are the heartbeat of Nach Baliye." It's a great compliment for us. Shilpa ma'am told us, "You perform with full expressions and gestures and this can be seen in every act". We have got good comments every week and it feels great. 

How does it feel to be appreciated by the judges and the audience?It feels very good. I hail from Rajasthan and I think I have come a long way. Love from the audience is just like blessings from God. In fact even school children recognize me as Bhabo of Nach Baliye, they wish me all the best and tell me that they vote for us. This makes me feel extremely happy.

All the contestants have given me too much of love and support every time. I have never entered the show to compete with any of them. I joined the competition with my partner and I had this competition with him only. I used to tell him 'Naach Baliye main dekhti hun, aap kitna achcha nachte ho' and vice versa.
