"Acting is my passion and business is for my financial stability" - Surbhi Tiwari

The talented actress Surbhi Tiwari who was last seen in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum is very much keen on doing creative things and invests her time wisely to look after her business of eye wear brand Igear. The actress owns the eye wear brand Igear. While she has featured is many other popular shows such as Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Tota Weds Maina, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, the actress likes to utilize her time effectively and efficiently by teaching Bharat Natyam, making soft toys when she is not shooting for the shows.

TellyBuzz spoke to Surbhi to know more about her other interests apart from her acting...

Surbhi has a knack of handling the business well as she used to look after the same while she used to be busy shooting for the shows and now when she is not shooting she takes care of her eye wear business.

When asked Sakshi about the details of her eye wear business she says, "Acting is my passion but business is for my financial stability. The eye wear brand Igear which I have started, includes reading glasses and the stylish sun glasses. These glasses are not the ordinary ones as they are the first reading glasses in our country which has LED lights and with the press of one button you can change the shades of sun glasses seven times darker or lighter than the actual shade.  I came across such type of glasses in London and thought of producing similar glasses for Indian market in an affordable price as they were too expensive in London. So I bought it from London and started to manufacture the similar glasses in China. When I heard about the International Exhibition to be held at NSE ground at Goregaon, I bought a stall to showcase our new innovative optical collection."

Apart from her optical business the actress used to invest her time in doing creative things and thus used to keep herself busy with dance classes and soft toy making, "When I was doing a show Shagun on Star Plus, I started Bharat Natyam dance and even when I was doing a popular show Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan on Star Plus in 2005, I started making soft toys similar to China toys. I keep on doing something or the other when I am not shooting as the time span which we get in between the shot is very long, so I utilize that time for my business."
