Owing to the various portrayals of the character 'Babuji' in several films, Alok Nath's image of 'Babuji' became stereotyped. However, it seems the same image is the reason behind his upcoming project.

Alok Nath is set to become the host of an upcoming web show, 'Sinskari'. The show will be featuring him as the host where various celebrities will be coming on and talking about their sins.

We contacted the actor, who confirmed saying, "Yes, I am playing the host of the show and I am really excited about it. It will be one final goodbye to the image of 'Babuji' and people will see me in a totally different avatar."

About the image which became so popular, he said, "It is something which I did not want. That image was forced upon me and it is not that I had a problem with it. But yes, it is important to break stereotypes and this will do just that..! I am also very happy with the concept of the show."

Talking about whether the show will remain to be a web series or will telecast on commercial television, he said, "For now, it is a web show and that is because of the adult content. However, if they plan to put it on commercial television or not is a decision that will be taken later."

He added, "The show is launching tomorrow and currently is in experimental stage where initially celebrities will be the guests and if things click they will make changes to it too. Actress Mandana Karimi will be the first guest on the show."
