Purab breaks down on the sets of P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke!!

Actor Purab Kohli has been much appreciated for his brilliant performance in Nikkhil Advani's television show P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke and the movie Rock on 2. The fictional show is breaking stereotypes as it brings about the stories of war heroes who have returned to their home country after being held captive for 17 years.

Purab Kohli plays the role of Sartaj Singh, prisoner of war, who returns to his family after having had a total of 17 torturous years in Pakistan's prison.

To make his character look real and believable on screen, Purab has made sincere efforts. The actor watched a lot of videos to perfect his part of a prisoner and get the feel of how it is to be one.

"Since the shoot of such scenes are intense and emotionally grueling, it's taking a toll on the actors as they portray their character on screen. During one such shoot, the actor was supposed to shoot for a torturous scene where he is beaten up by the enemies every day for 17 years. Purab broke down on the sets because he couldn't hold back his emotions as he got too involved in his character of Sartaj," disclosed a source from the sets.

It gets very difficult for Purab to get back to his normal life with his family and friends after shooting such intense scenes and he is therefore constantly consulting a physiatrist for the same. All we can hope is that the efforts of the actor turn out to fruitful for his character and the show as well.
