#PromoReview: The second promo of 'Jhansi Ki Rani' TONES it down but ENDS with a BANG

Colors is all set to showcase the much-awaited and talked about show, Khoob Ladi Mardaani - Jhansi Ki Rani soon which stars actress Anushka Sen in the titular role. The first promo of the show went on-air a few days ago and created a rage indeed.

The second promo was recently released by Anushka herself, and this time, the treatment to the promo is entirely different from the way it was in the first one.

Unlike the first one, the whole initial look and feel to this promo is mellow and much more about the innocence you would see in a girl in her growing years. A friend of Manikarnika (Anushka Sen) runs searching for her exclaiming how many gifts have arrived for them which includes beautiful and comfortable shoes. Manikarnika may be a warrior, but she is, after all, a teenage girl, who evidently gets allured by the shoes and wears them.

However, as she goes out and understands that the same has been sent by the British authorities who were ruling them then, she removes the shoes and explains how her war and struggle will be filled with hardships and not comfort. As soon as she ends the dialogue, she throws a spade into the British flag that was hoisting outside. This leaves the actual impact that it is meant to leave, and that is that of a fierce and brave warrior.

The best part about this promo is the marriage of innocence and a warrior-like trait that happens in the beginning and the end of the promo respectively. It is a welcome change to see the mellow side also being showcased before they get down to business. The scale looks

huge and Anushka Sen looks to be at her A-game. This promo certainly makes a larger impact then the previous one and only raises more expectations.
