#PromoReview: The NEW challenge for Shivaay is just the fresh CHANGE that 'Ishqbaaaz' needed

Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz has been struggling to fetch numbers in recent times and a welcome change in the storyline was long awaited.

And it seems the upcoming track, which goes on-air on 29th January, 2018 is just a breath of fresh air it needed.

Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) plans to enter a temple by skipping the queue, when he is stopped by the guard who tells him not to do so. Shivaay reminds the guard that he is THE Shivaay Singh Oberoi which is ignored by the guard and another big personality pushes him and goes in.

Shivaay is struggling to come to terms with the fact that he is broke, when his grandmother, Kalyani (Navnindra Behl) comes and explains him that this is the right time for him to follow the footsteps of Lord Ram, where he should leave his pride and arrogance aside.

And with this, Shivaay decides to do the same with a sense of acceptance and smile, he walks by and none other than his loving wife, Anika (Surbhi Chandna) is standing by him.

It is amazing to see the introduction of such a fresh track, where after being on-air for over a year and a half, it would be interesting to witness Shivaay and family deal with these difficult days.

The guidance of an elderly person is unparalleled and to see the same in the promo is heartwarming. The way Kalyani guides Shivaay to let go of the pride and arrogance and adopt simplicity was endearing.

And finally, it may be cliche to many, but the support of a wife in tough times will never go out of 'trend' when it comes to viewing it on a daily soap. Anika, at the end walks with Shivaay holding his hand with a broad smile and complete support.

In a mere 30 second promo, several emotions and high points were highlighted which makes you want to not want to miss it. Just as the promo, we hope the track also does wonders.
