The two promos of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka that have aired have made things pretty much clear, as we talk about the characters and the storyline. But here comes the third one which, if you had some doubts about the 'extra marital' factor, will now get cleared.
What's It About

Kunal (Shakti Arora) and Mauli (Aditi Sharma) are absolute, what we call as couple goals. They are hugging, kissing, getting cosy; doing everything an in-love couple would do.

Cut to Nandini (Drashti Dhami) and his husband, Rajdeep (played by Abhinav Shukla), where they are cutting Nandini's birthday cake, and things look happy and merry, they are NOT.

Rajdeep is as ruthless as he can be. He strangles Nandini's hand below the table and tells her not to spoil things as this party is only thrown for the investors.

But, Nandini unintentionally does that as one of the investors goes on to hug her after wishing her on her birthday. A visibly uncomfortable Nandini retracts, but ends up unknowingly breaking a flower vase. And hence, she is tightly slapped by Rajdeep
What's Good

Once again, I love the development of promos on how each one of them has been a revelation, but this one completely tops the list, as it shows the negative character of Abhinav.

The picturesque and serene location of Goa is mildly highlighted in the promos thus giving hints of how we will be treated with some great landscape shots.

To the ones who had their doubts about how is there a justification to two married people falling in love out of their wedlock; would have had an answer at least as they witness Nandini's sufferings. Maybe not completely justified, but the questions are answered somewhat.

Without speaking a word, Drashti is best part about the promo, where her forced smiles for social status, her pain of being strangled by her husband, and her baffled expressions on breaking the vase to expressions of fear and sadness after being slapped are such different emotions, but the actress portrays all of it with complete subtlety and pure finesse.
What's Not-So-Good

While everything else looks fine, in the 21st century, especially in an urban household, the idea of a wife suffering mental and physical abuse at the hands of her husband is difficult to digest. We are not saying it doesn't happen, we are saying it's difficult to think, the female would continue to suffer for a long period of time.
The Verdict
The introduction of Abhinav's character in the promo adds several layers to the story, and now the story of these completely contrasting couples has already become an interesting watch in itself to look out for.
