#PromoReview: 'Lust Stories' seems a mature yet subtle take on Love, Life & Relationships

Netflix as a streaming platform continues to grow bigger than ever and it is no secret that it is currently the most successful streaming service of em all. And when it comes to the service's reach in India, the graph is only getting better with many filmmakers making films, short stories and soon even series for the same.

There is a certain hype to Sacred Games starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, which will be coming in July, but guess what, there is another treat all ready and waiting to be told.

The dynamic quartet of Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee are all set and rolling to present 4 stories with different concepts together titled as Lust Stories.

The promo of the same recently went on-air and here's what we have to say..

What's It About

The novelty about the trailer is that you don't completely have an idea about anything overall except for the glimpses you see. All you know is you are looking at 4 parallel stories, where love is the common factor but the 'other' thing is so different and complicated everywhere.

The age bar set in all the stories is also a highlight to look by. Especially the one starring Sanjay Kapoor, Manisha Koirala and Jaideep Ahlawat is as we know the one with the middle-aged relationship and in the complete contrast is that of Radhika Apte and Akash Thosar. It seems a good mix overall.

The Impact

Lust Stories, as the name suggests is about the many complicated relationships between the leading couples, but with a slice-of-life approach. Usually, when you see such stories being presented, there is usually a darkness in the treatment to it, but that's not the case here which is a welcome change.

The sheer fact that the you have some of the biggest and best names in the industry coming in together for four stories to tell is a highlight and a reason to must-watch in itself.
