Priyanka Chopra Jonas to make her first Cannes appearance at premiere of the documentary 5B

After making a spectacular appearance at the recent MET gala, all eyes are now on Priyanka Chopra Jonas as she's all set to make her red carpet debut at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival.

While there is massive anticipation surrounding her attendance at this year's festival, inside sources reveal that Priyanka's first appearance will be at the gala world premiere of “5B”, directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Dan Krauss.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas will reportedly attend the screening as a patron along with Julianne Moore among others at the famed Palais de Festival on Boulevard de la Croisette

Given that Priyanka feels passionately towards humanitarian causes, she looked forward to supporting the documentary, that tells the inspirational story of the caregivers who took action to comfort, protect and care for the patients of the first AIDS ward unit in the U.S. 

The documentary is a candid and bittersweet monument to a pivotal moment in American history and a celebration of quiet heroes worthy of renewed recognition.
