Priyanka Bassi back after a hiatus; to enter Odhani

Priyanka Bassi who created an aura amongst the youth as the brave, strong, honest and sweet cadet Naina in SAB TV's Left Right Left is back to television after a break of one and half years!!

The girl will now be seen in yet another youth-oriented show, this time on Yash Patnaik's Rang Badalti Odhani on Star One. The show will soon see the entry of Shantanu's (Karan Tacker) close buddies. TellyBuzz had reported earlier that Manish Raisinghania and Garima Ajmani will be playing the roles. But there is a slight change to this, as Garima has opted for the Zee show Apno Ke Liye Geeta Ka Dharma Yudha.

And now it is Priyanka Bassi who gets back into the limelight with the bubbly, vibrant and lively role.

Our source tells us, "Manish and Priyanka will start shooting from tomorrow, and the channel and production house are pleased with the star cast they have got".

Producer Swapna Waghmare Joshi told us, "Things are not finalized yet. We have few options, and are going thro' the final look test. I will be able to give you an answer by today evening".

However, Priyanka confirmed the news of her comeback, "Yes, I am excited to get back and connect to all my fans. I play a cherubic, bubbly girl in Odhani. I have always been connected to youth based shows, and here is another one".

Talking about her absence from television, and her life after Left Right Left, Priyanka told TellyBuzz, "I had decided to take things in the stride and sit back and enjoy life. You can say that this was a period of evolution for me, I learnt a lot and time has taught me many things. I am now more mature and strong. I had been travelling a lot, and enjoyed life with my family. It's now time to get back to my audience who have missed me a lot in these years. This is a fresh start and I am really looking forward for a good run".

Priyanka asserted that she will be starting shoot from tomorrow, and her entry sequence will be aired sometime next week.

Well, we are sure this comes across as a pleasant surprise for Priyanka fans!!
