Priya Banerjee opens up on Replacing Nia Sharma in Twisted 3!

Actress Priya Banerjee will soon be seen in Vikram Bhatt's twisted 3 along with Garima Jain. The first two seasons of the show had Nia Sharma as the main lead but this time Priya will be seen essaying the lead role. Earlier, there were also rumours about Tina Datta bagging the role but later it was revealed that Priya Banerjee will be seen in Season 3. 

Talking about the same, Priya spoke to Spotboye.com and said, "I don't know about Tina, what I know is Nia Sharma did Twisted 1 and 2. The show came to me in January 2020 but I couldn't accept the role as I was shooting for something else at that time. And then, I had to go back to my home in Canada."

She also added that she had conversations with Vikram Bhatt before leaving but they could not seal the deal for the show. However when she came back from Canada, they were still looking for someone. She added, "I am not sure what must have happened in between as almost two months had passed by then and when I came back they asked me if I'll still be interested. So, I agreed then as the script was great and they have offered both Twisted 3 and 4 to me, so it was a great opportunity."

Talking about shooting the series, Priya mentioned that they shot for 10 days and had a huge lineup of scenes but then the lockdown was announced and they still have a few more weeks of shoot to go once  things get back on track.
