Priya Banerjee: I am Playing The Role of A Kashmiri Girl For The First Time in my Career!

Actress Priya Banerjee who is seen in films like Jazbaa, 3 Dev, Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna and web series like Hello Mini amongst others will soon be seen in yet another film along with Shivin Narang.The film Dheet Patangey revolves around friends and is set against the backdrop of the 1983 cricket world cup. In an exclusive conversation, Priya revealed various details about the film, her role and much more.

Talking about her role, Priya said, “I’m playing the role of Snower. This is for the first time I’m playing the role of a Kashmiri girl."

Talking more about the film, Priya added, “I don’t want to reveal much but the film is based on 1983 cricket World Cup which was a milestone for Indian cricket team. At the same time, it’s hugely about friendships and relationships. I’m sure it will be loved by everyone. I’m really happy because our movie is based on cricket."

She also revealed about her bond with her co-stars and stated, “We have all become such amazing friends since we finished shooting."

The film also stars Chandan Roy Sanyal. On working with him, Priya avered, “This is my second film with Chandan. My debut movie Jazbaa was also with him where he played the villain. So I was already used to his way of working."

Along with Priya, the film stars Shivin Narang, Hardik Sanghani, Ali Murad, and Tilotama Shome in vital roles.
